What is ‘Out of my league’?

Out of My League is a Newsletter based on the analysis of the NRL Rugby League Competition. Sometimes that means providing in-game insights, breaking down player interviews, creating line-ups or pretending I’m coaching the National side.

Other times, Out of My League is my venting space. Luckily, as a regular ol’ bloke, chances are that whatever I’m pissed off about is something that’s been grinding your gears too. Either that or it’s something that brings you immense joy, in which case you can bathe in my misery. Win/win.

Basically, Out of My League is my thoughts, feelings and analysing of whatever’s happening in the NRL this week. Of course, I step away from the NRL every now and then, but that’s in the name.

Who is the Writer?

I’m Max Delaney!

That doesn’t mean much at the moment, but you asked! I’m hoping you’ll remember the name if you subscribe, though.

I'm just a 23-year-old journalist who loves sport and writing about it.

Why should I subscribe?

Because I write pretty good.

That sentence withstanding, of course. If you like what I do, you should subscribe because it gives me a happy little boost in dopamine.

For you though, subscribing comes with two benefits. Firstly, it’s free. Secondly, it means every post made by Out of My League is sent straight to your email, meaning you are notified when you receive them, can read them from your email and don’t have to go searching for your favourite sports writing.

Wanna Chat?

Not really. Only kidding, if you wanna praise me, please do.

The only thing I like more than writing about sport is talking (arguing) about it with people.

To find out more about me or have a chat, please follow me on Twitter or send me an email!
